Level 1 Program

One week in length, is intended for the novice outdoors-person.

- 10-15 participants: $1,200.00 per person, plus taxes
- 16-25 participants: $1,000.00 per person, plus taxes

We will live in a lodge near Algonquin Park and the days will be split between classroom sessions (outdoors whenever possible) and daily field trips to practise the skills learned. If possible, we will spend several nights in the wilderness enjoying the Canadian outdoors!

Knowdge gained in the session will include a variety of topics including starting fires without matches, compass-and map-reading, building shelters, hiking skills, survival priorities, food and water, and first aid.

The emphasis will be on learning while enjoying as much time as possible in the outdoors and gaining direct hands-on experience.
