Backcountry
Backpacking Trip
A rugged, challenging wilderness backpacking trip where participants
will overcome many obstacles along their way……including
living out of a backpack for 5 to 7 days in remote backcountry.
The
group will hike 10 to 15 kilometers per day, covering a variety of
trail difficulties, and assorted ecosystems. Clients will navigate
using topographical maps and silva compass, with assistance from GPS.
A
respect for the natural environment, and fragility of our planet and
it’s flora and fauna will be emphasized.

Season Offered: mid-May to early November
Notes: this program requires an orientation/planning session, and
a backpacking skills workshop, prior to the expedition.
Difficulty rating: medium to hard skills.
