Learn to plan and carry out a hiking trip into natural sites in local areas.

Purpose:

To acquire lightweight hiking skills.

• gear selection
• proper footwear and clothing considerations
• menus and water supply, and,
• sample trip routes. 

Duration:

One evening classroom session and 4 or 5 one-day hikes.
