Yuval
Brodsky - Instructor
Having worked as a Forest Ranger, Yuval has an excellent understanding
of natural systems, their functions, and how to use them to one’s
advantage in any survival situation. Through his work as a Forest
Firefighter and with the Canadian Coast Guard, Yuval has developed
an excellent understanding of the Canadian Search and Rescue System,
as well as established how to use it to one’s advantage
to maximize the chances of being found when disabled in the wilderness.
He is also highly trained in response to any wilderness rescue
situation.
Yuval is currently working on an honours degree in Earth and Environmental
Sciences at McMaster University, and is the Co-President of the
McMaster Outdoor Club. He has lead a wide variety of activities
and expeditions, including canoeing, survival, winter camping,
backpacking, dog-sledding and more. Showing a keen interest in
leadership, Yuval has developed leadership and group dynamics
workshops, and enjoys running skills workshops such as GPS and
map & compass.

Eric
has actively participated in various WSC Wilderness Courses and
Youth Camps. He is completing his Outdoor Education Program at
Humber College. |

Connie
is a well-experienced outdoorsperson with an extensive history
in survival skills, orienteering, and camp leadership. She has
completed her Certificate in Outdoor Ed at Conestoga College and
led numerous WSC wilderness trips and hikes. |

Jennifer
is an ORCA Canoeing Flatwater and CRCA Kayaking instructor, and
team leader. She is certified by ORCA and CRCA, and at Humber
College in Outdoor Education. |

Stefan
has a vast background in various building trades, specializing
in log cabin construction, and currently instructs the WSC Log
Cabin Program. |
| Charles
Pacheco
Coordinator and Program Leader |
Charles
leads numerous corporate and camp initiatives.
He is an accomplished wilderness guide and instructor, specializing
in team-building and tours for corporate and youth initiatives.
Charles in an ORCA-Certified Flatwater instructor, and has completed
his Outdoor Education Certificate at Humber College. |

Frank
instructs Wilderness Survival, Wilderness First Aid, and Crisis
Management. He has assisted and instructed numerous wilderness
courses, as well as St John's First Aid, and has been a search
and rescue volunteer searcher and a Scout leader. |

Paul
Tarsitano, B.A, A-EMCA, W-EMT, Instructor
A
Paramedic with Toronto EMS, Paul specializes in Wilderness First
Aid Training and Safety. He has a vast background in the
field, and currently owns and operates his own company,
'Save A Life', offering Advanced Wilderness First Aid courses
of various types and topics, and trains camp staff at various
locations. Paul's
experience includes having been an instructor at St. John's Ambulance
and the Red Cross, a ski patroller, and a member of a search and
rescue team with the Durham Police Department. In
addition, he has instructed at the Wilderness Survival Challenge
School and has taught special education at a high school for 10
years.
