The Wilderness Training

Fund provided development funding.
The Wilderness Training
Institute 1 day course was written and developed by David Arama
and Howard Dayton.
David Arama has 22 years
experience as an instructor, leader and speaker, over 360 nights
in the wilderness with very little supplies; his real life experiences
have built the best practices recommended in this course. He has
developed survival programs at the community college and university
level, and instructs youth outdoor survival program for the City
of Vaughan Department of Recreation and Culture.
David serves as the Director
of the WSC Wilderness Survival School and all of its individual
programs.
Howard Dayton, Program
Administer holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts and has over 15 years
experience developing curriculum for adult learners and has developed
many program for the Parks and Recreation and camping sector.
